Since my previous blog post about AFRINIC, it has gone relatively quiet on the lists.
Of note, John Curran, the CEO of ARIN, asked Owen DeLong to specifically answer whether the address resources used by Cloud Innovation are still being used for the same purpose they were originally requested and issued. This was first asked on the 6th August and whilst Owen has written other messages to the list, this one has, as yet (15th August), gone unanswered.
On Friday 13th August, there was another hearing to unfreeze AFRINIC’s accounts, this too failed as “The Honorable Judge did not accede to our request and was of the view that the application was procedurally incorrect and should have been entered differently.”
