Who am I?

Well, I dunno really. I go by the name of Rob Evans, and by day (sometimes stretching into the early evening) I work at the University of London Computer Centre as part of the team that looks after JANET, the National Research and Education Network (NREN) of the UK.

Part of my job recently has been investigating and deploying IPv6; other parts include liaison with other European NRENs through participation in GEANT APM meetings (I was also part of the team that managed TEN-155, the predecessor to GEANT).

However, from Easter 2003 until Easter 2004 I am leaving work behind to see a bit of the world. For more on that, see my round Asia page.
